Fury For A Feast 2014

What?
Fury for a Feast is an outdoor party thrown in August to celebrate a few things that we love – community and friends, great food, fantastic local music, incredible barrel-aged beer and doing our part to help one of the best charities around.

In our first year, we raised over $4,000 and 900 pounds of food for Gleaners Food Bank, all while having one hell of a party! This year we have 4 incredible Michigan bands, great food and chocolate from The Palate and Mindo and 18 different barrel aged beers and ciders for you to enjoy. We have been aging and preparing most of these beers since last year in preparation for this one day.

We hope that you will join us with a few cans of food from your pantry on August 23rd for our 2nd annual Fury For A Feast. This will be the last big outdoor event that we will have here in our original location, so please join us for a great time and help us blow last years donation out of the water!
Cheers!
Ryan and Erin

Joshua Davis Trio – Joshua Davis was raised in the folk tradition: the music, the social movements, the land. Q & A About Our Next Move (more will be added if needed)

Will Witch’s Hat be packaging? (bottle or can)
- The short answer to this question is no, not initially. To maintain our focus on quality and growing our brand, we will continue to only keg our product for consumption at draft accounts. This will be our plan for the next several years. We will continue to review our need for packaging and explore that endeavor when it appears to make sense for our brand and customers.

Where will Witch’s Hat beers be distributed?
- We will continue to focus our brand locally in the Metro Detroit area through Rave Associates distribution. Keeping our product as centrally located to our brewery as possible will help us to ensure that the beer is always of the highest quality and freshness. We have created a great relationship with Rave over the past 2 years. They have handled the problems associated with the current smallness of our brewery while helping us to grown our brand. We do not plan on opening up additional markets as long as our production does not outweigh our local demand.

Will the Witch’s Hat Brewing Company have a Kitchen in the new brewery?
- No. We will continue to focus solely on beer just as we have over the past 2 years. We will continue to work with local restaurants to provide menus and delivery for our customers as well as allowing food trucks to park and serve outside of the brewery. The growth and popularity of food trucks will allow us to provide interesting, fun and new options to our customers on a regular basis without diverting our attention from the beer.

Will this new, bigger place lose the small, cozy atmosphere of the current brewery?
- We are going to do everything in our power to have the incredible atmosphere created by our customers and staff carry over to the new taproom. Community is very important to us at Witch’s Hat and this will be a huge factor in our new taproom. Our goal is to keep the same vibe with more room and more comfort. We will incorporate the mugs from the Glass Academy (With room for many, many more), local art, our bottle cap tables, the steel tube bar footrest made and donated to us by Michigan Seamless Tube in South Lyon and even the oak barrels, kegs and grain that make appearances in the taproom area.
